Shoper, Poland’s preferred provider of software for running online shops on a SaaS (software as a service) basis, has released its financial results for the three months ended 31 March 2024,boasting record-high profitability and 31% revenue growth with a surging value of transactions recorded by merchants on its platform.

Shoper’s revenue for the three months ended 31 March 2024 soared to PLN 44.2m, up by 26% year on year. Adjusted EBITDA came in at PLN 14.9m, a marked increase of 31% on the corresponding period of the previous year. Alongside the robust revenue growth, the Company posted an improvement of its adjusted EBITDA margin to 33.8%. 

During the first quarter of this year, sales enabled by the Shoper platform powered the growth of Poland’s e-commerce market. The combined value of transactions encompassing sales from online shops, e-commerce platforms and price comparison websites (Omnichannel GMV) reached PLN 3.1bn, marking an unprecedented year-on-year increase of 47%. The value of transactions in online shops (Shops GMV) amounted to PLN 2.5bn, a notable year-on-year increase of 29%.

Growth in omnichannel sales services and new partnerships

In the three months to 31 March 2024, Shoper focused on bolstering its omnichannel sales services, with particular emphasis on enhancing the capabilities of its Apilo platform, a cutting-edge omnichannel sales management system. The introduction of several new functionalities and solutions contributed to Apilo’s increasing popularity among Polish retailers, attracting larger wide coverage e-commerce brands and marketplace platforms.
