Shoper, the most popular SaaS e-commerce provider in Poland, confirms its financial results achieved in the second quarter of 2024. Adjusted EBITDA was PLN 15.8 million, up 32% year-on-year.

On September 5, Shoper, a company included in the sWIG80 index on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, published its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2024. In the second quarter of 2024 , Shoper's revenues reached PLN 46.1 million, up 27% year-on-year . 

Customers using the Shoper platform were also successful. The value of sales in Shoper's online stores amounted to PLN 2.6 billion (GMV Stores) in the second quarter, and augmented by other sales channels amounted to nearly PLN 3.5 billion (GMV Omnichannel). Both metrics improved by 35% and 61%, respectively, compared to the second quarter of 2023.

- The double-digit revenue growth in the second quarter of this year confirms Shoper's strong market position and the effectiveness of its technology and offer development strategy. Shoper with a successful start to the third quarter

The company also released metrics showing the sales effectiveness of its clients for July and August 2024. During this period , online stores operating on the Shoper platform generated record high growth - the GMV Stores indicator for the two months increased by 30% year-on-year, and augmented by additional sales channels (GMV Omnichannel) recorded an increase of as much as 60% compared to the same period last year.

- Vendors using the Shoper platform are not slowing down, and their sales effectiveness is steadily increasing. The results from the first two months of the third quarter fill us with optimism and are a good forecast for the next months of the year," adds Piotr Biczysko. 

Cross-border development and new partnerships

Shoper is the most popular provider of SaaS model e-commerce solutions in Poland. The company provides the necessary infrastructure for e-commerce and a range of services to support sales, i.e. Omnichannel, online payments, Digital Ads, logistics services and business financing.  

The company last six months established partnerships with companies such as XBS Group, PayPro (Przelewy24), Ebury, NestBank and Santander. The company also opened a new competence center focused on AI development and online marketing

Representatives of the company said that Shoper's strategy involves further dynamic development of its offer to enable Polish online stores to sell products abroad , i.e. the development of the Shoper Broker offer and support for multi-currency payments.
