Shoper, the leading e-commerce software in Poland, has partnered with global payment system Stripe in April 2025. From now on, all stores on Shoper can run Stripe payments. The new solution is designed to make it easier for Polish merchants to expand into foreign markets and more tailored payment gateways for consumers in Europe.
Shoper, in an effort to empower its customers in foreign markets, is integrating the Stripe payment system. This will enable all merchants to manage international transactions directly from the Shoper panel, offering support for local currencies and access to global payment methods. This will make the payment process faster and transactions secure. The full integration of Stripe and Shoper provides flexible management of withdrawals and refunds right from the store's admin panel. From now on, customers who purchase from online stores operating in their local markets can pay using payment methods trusted in their countries. In addition, they have the option to finalize transactions directly in their own currencies.
"Polish e-commerce needs high-end modern solutions. Just a few years ago, expanding to foreign markets was a challenge in many fields, but today we can say that in the area of payments we can offer even the smallest merchants payment solutions that will allow them to accept payments from buyers from different markets. Stripe is a trusted, secure, advanced and one of the most popular systems for handling global payments. This is exactly the kind of solution we want for Polish merchants." - adds Łukasz Piechowiak, Director of Financial and Logistics Services at Shoper.
"Thanks to the close cooperation between Stripe and Shoper, Polish entrepreneurs will no longer face barriers to expanding into foreign markets - this is our common goal. We are convinced that the payment solution we have prepared strengthens the position of the Shoper platform as the preferred choice for merchants looking for a simple, yet efficient and reliable payment infrastructure. We believe that for Polish entrepreneurs selling abroad, the choice of Stripe and Shoper should be obvious." - said Marcin Misztal, Director for Central and Eastern Europe at Stripe.
How can retailers launch the new gateway in their online stores?
The new integration is available to all Shoper customers, regardless of the package selected. It allows handling payments in multiple currencies and offers attractive commission terms. Activation of Stripe in a Shoper online store is quick and intuitive. The store owner undergoes full onboarding from his Shoper administration panel. All paperwork is processed online. Once finalized, Stripe's most important features are available in the panel, and the merchant can take full advantage of its functionality, offering customers a wide range of payment methods and benefiting from fast billing.
