Shoper, the market leader in online stores in the subscription model (SaaS) in Poland, released preliminary financial results for the second quarter and half of 2022. Revenue, adjusted EBITDA and sales value on the Shoper platform were once again at a record high.

Revenue Shoper in H1 2022 amounted to PLN 55.1 million, 65% higher than in the similar period in 2021. Store GMV amounted to PLN 3.5 billion, up 38% y/y, and omnichannel GMV (i.e., in own stores and connected shopping platforms) amounted to PLN 3.8 billion, up 37% y/y. Adjusted EBITDA reached PLN 16.8 million in H1 2022, a growth rate of 16% y/y.

Users of the Shoper platform successfully sold their products and dynamically acquired new customers. We grew much faster than the market and improved key financial parameters. Revenue Shoper in Q2 2022 amounted to PLN 28.8 million, up 64% compared to Q2 2021. GMV of stores on the Shoper platform amounted to PLN 1.8 billion, up 64% y/y, and GMV of omnichannel amounted to PLN 2.0 billion (up 35% y/y). Adjusted EBITDA amounted to PLN 8.7 million in Q2 2022, representing a growth rate of 19% y/y.

Shoper introduced a number of new functionalities for its customers in H1 2022, which allow better management of the online sales process, give better customer service support and support the running of advertising campaigns. The company also developed tools and integrations to support multi-channel and international sales. Shoper invested in Selium agency, which specializes in handling sales on global marketplaces, and Sempire agency, which handles search engine positioning of online stores and implementation of advertising campaigns. Shoper was also the first e-commerce platform in Poland to gain Alibaba Gold Partner status, opening access to the global marketplace for Polish companies and suppliers.
