The owner of the online storefront platform Shoper has filed a prospectus with the Financial Supervisory Commission. "We have dynamic growth behind us and even more ambitious plans for the future," says Marcin Kuśmierz, CEO of the Company.

Shoper SA is the owner of a platform for the e-commerce market, sold in a SaaS (Software as a Service) model. The company offers a comprehensive ecosystem to support users in running, managing and growing their own online sales.

In 2020, Shoper was used by more than 20,000 users (including 15,800 customers of Shoper and more than 4,000 stores sold by partners on a private label basis), with stores on the platform Shoper, after excluding partners' stores, generating 4 billion zlotys of turnover (GMV - gross merchandise value).

"Today Shoper is already more than 20 thousand online stores and a leading position in SaaS platforms for e-commerce in the prospective Polish market. Our success is the result of a comprehensive approach to customers and supporting their sales. The effects of these activities can be seen both in the company's rapidly growing results and in the rapidly increasing turnover of customers on the platform (GMV). Our development is not only about gaining new users, but also supporting them in their development and growing with them. We have a history of dynamic growth and even more ambitious plans for the future. We are focused on business development, but we are also considering various market scenarios, including a stock market debut. That's why we have submitted a prospectus to the Financial Supervisory Commission," says Marcin Kuśmierz, CEO of Shoper.

An important factor in the company's growth is the high scalability of its business model, resulting in a significant improvement in margins as the number of users of the Shoper platform and the turnover they generate increases. Although users of the Shoper platform do not pay commissions on sales, many ancillary services are billed under a pay-as-you-grow model, which is correlated with the volume of turnover generated (GMV) by their stores. In 2020. GMV generated by the stores on the Shoper platform amounted to 4 billion zlotys, 3 times more than in 2018.
