Shoper wraps up record year - already 4 billion GMV

Shoper S.A., owner of Poland's most popular e-commerce platform for running an online store, achieved revenues of PLN 47 million and EBITDA of PLN 22 million in 2020. This represents an increase of 69 percent year-on-year and 104 percent year-on-year, respectively. Last year, customers generated a turnover (GMV*) of PLN 4.0 billion on the Shoper platform, an increase of 87 percent year-on-year. March 5 this year. The company filed a prospectus with the Financial Supervisory Commission.

Online shopping even more attractive: Shoper launched PayPo deferred payments

The changing shopping habits of Poles and the increasing prevalence of online sales, pose new challenges to store owners and service providers on the road to increasing shoppers' convenience and security. Data from Poland's most popular online shopping platform Shoper shows that the share of online payments is growing rapidly every year - in 2020, more than 60% of payments for purchases made online were made using a cashless method (that's 10% more than in 2019).
